Easy Dark Chocolate Truffle Cookies: Pure Indulgence in Under 30 Minutes!

Calling all chocoholics! This recipe delivers intense dark chocolate flavor in a soft, chewy cookie, with a decadent melted chocolate center that takes things over the top. Ready in under 30 minutes, these are perfect for satisfying your cravings without the fuss.

 

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
• 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate (for centers)

     

                    Instructions:

                    1) Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
                    2) In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

                    3) In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in half the chocolate chips.
                    4) Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Top each cookie with a piece of chopped dark chocolate.

                    5) Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are set.
                    While cookies bake, melt remaining chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

                    6) Drizzle melted chocolate over warm cookies. Let cool completely on wire racks before enjoying.
